Would you like to have to most luxurious, indulgent bath experience ever?!
Allow me to introduce you to Lacey Haegen’s
Coconut Vanilla Buffing Creme Body Exfoliator.
While on the west coast for a wedding I met up with my friend, Lacey Haegen, who has all sorts of experience in the cosmetics world. When we first met she was the business manager of Chanel and also my first mentor in the world of makeup. Since then she has managed so many departments and is now a Box artist for Chanel, traveling all over for events with her own box of Chanel makeup. She has such a passion for beauty and cosmetics. It was only natural that she would have such an indulgent, fabulous bath product! I was so happy when she brought me a tub of her delicious scrub! I just have to spread the word because I know this is just the ultimate bath experience!

*Here’s a little note from Sara <3
Now that the dust has settled and I’ve had a minute to reflect (and hear all about how incredible I looked thanks to the most beautiful, natural yet statement-making makeup I have ever had…) I wanted to drop you a quick note. Although I could wax poetic for hours on your talent and how incredible my mom (who has never worn more than drugstore mascara in her almost 60 years on this planet) looked and how natural you made her feel, or how my bridesmaids all looked like the most incredible versions of their beautiful selves…but the most important part for me was your presence. You are the most kind, calm and wonderful woman ever. I sincerely appreciate every second of your time, I feel incredibly lucky to have found you in a sea of many talented people in New York City, you are truly one in a million… thank you again for making my wedding the best day of my life in so many ways.

And here are some pics:
I am so lucky to work with such incredibly cool, funny, kind, talented, interesting and beautiful women. Thank you Sara for everything! :D
I just have to share this site with you! Animoto
takes your photos and videos and makes them into awesome videos. I just received this one from my bride Sara
by her photographer, Anthony Vazquez.
So then I proceeded to make my own! The first 30 second video is free so I just loaded up some random images that I had on my computer- it’s pretty cool:
Amidst Fashion week craziness I decided to really push myself… on the Saturday the 10th, I flew out to Buffalo, NY did an 8 person wedding, grabbed some Buffalo wings, then flew home!
Remember Jaclyn? She was the bride that had her wedding a day early because of hurricane Irene. Could you imagine?! It’s a brides worst nightmare! Thankfully she had excellent vendors and the wedding was a total success!
Last minute touch ups at Rebar’s
Here I am helping button up Jaclyn’s dress. I would never wear white to a wedding, but I had no idea I was going to be at a wedding that day! Jaclyn emailed me when I was already out and about working. Thankfully everything worked out perfectly!
Here is a review that Jaclyn wrote about me online:
“OMG… I can not say enough good things about my wedding make up artist Lindsey! I was one of those “Irene” brides and had to move my wedding to a day early! I sent Lindsey an email at around11am the morning before my wedding to see if there was ANY chance she could move out appt to a day early. Within the half an hour, I get an email back from Lindsey saying… “Let’s do this, I will be there!”
Lindsey is exactly the type of person you want around you the day of your wedding… or your impromptu wedding! On a day that was so chaotic and crazy, Lindsey was so relaxing and fun to be around. Calmed my nerves completely! She’s not only one of the coolest girls I have met, she does absolutely sick makeup! I have had my make up down plenty of times and am not too shabby myself at it :), but I have never looked so hot! She made my eyes pop and my skin looked flawless. She was even able to make me look awake after not sleeping for 48 hours tracking Irene!
It wasn’t just me either. My mother (who never thinks she looks good), my sister, my mother-n-law, and my sister-n-law all looked stunning and can not stop praising Lindsey’s work.
I will forever be in Lindsey’s debt for helping me turn a crappy situation into making me feel beautiful on the inside and out. If you have any concerns about Lindsey’s work, feel free to email me. I’ll give you the reference of a lifetime!”
Thank you Jaclyn! <3
During New York Fashion Week SS 2012 I had the pleasure of doing the makeup for Renato Almeida and Sheseido for Designer Katie Ermilio.
The look is a Shimmery nude lide, with a pinky gold lower lid, slight medium wing tip with black cream/gel liner and then a little liner under just on the outer corners. Mascara on upper lashes and lightly on lower lashes. Brows were filled in lightly, very light foundation application, Cheeks in either RS302 or RD103 depending on the depth of the skin tone of the model, #1 corrector pencil in the water line, shimmer on the cheekbones and in the inter corner of the eyes.

Me! Snapping a pic in the mirror! :D
We had this tiny little station for three artists. It must have been about 100 degrees in that room while we were all doing makeup. A tight and hot space made it very difficult to work. At least I didn’t have to work out of my kit like my friend, Susan.
They didn’t have a table for her so she just opened up her kit and grabbed what she needed as she needed it. Crazy!
There was this really cool jewelry designer, Freida and Nellie, showcasing their work with Katie Ermilio. They were one of a kind pieces- antique jewelry with friendship bracelets beautifully combined. The pieces were adorable and I’m totally ordering my own bracelet right now!
